The Cool, Distant Superstar Is Actually My House Slave

As a B-list actress, Chen Xingyao has been dogged by scandals ever since her debut, yet never quite made it big.

She doesn’t care much herself. She spends her days slacking off, using her spare cash to travel, dance, grow flowers, and tend to plants...

Then one day, she rear-ended a car. As luck would have it, it belonged to film emperor Xiao Luoyi, and his fans put her on the trending list and cursed her for three whole days.

Not only did she lose her role in her new drama, but the brand deal she’d finally landed fell through too.

Chen Xingyao: Fine! You’re saying I’m clout-chasing, right?!

Since that’s what everyone online says, she decides to make it real: she’ll ride Xiao Luoyi’s fame and get up close and cuddly with him...

But Xiao Luoyi is unmoved by every tactic, giving her nothing but a cold shoulder.

Chen Xingyao’s verdict: He’s an untouchable beauty.

So she gives up...

Only for him to later kneel before her in a different capacity.

And cry whenever she touches him...
