Come on, I’m Straight. You Want Me to Be Their Matchmaker?

On her first day on set, she opens a script packed with suggestive innuendo and is utterly stunned.

The domineering CEO lead rides a shared bike to the set, while the delicate male lead shivers in the cold wearing nothing but a thin shirt.

And she not only has to pretend to be a rich heiress in a 120-yuan counterfeit trench coat, she also has to cruelly break up this “perfect love.” Lin Xia, a penniless, washed-up actress ranked near the bottom of the industry who can’t even afford rent, signs on for a supposed blockbuster web series about a “perfect love triangle” for a daily wage of 500 yuan. To avoid paying 500,000 yuan in breach-of-contract damages, she has no choice but to bow to money and reluctantly start stirring up trouble.

Throwing water to frame someone? It accidentally creates a “wet and irresistible” moment for the two male leads.

Locking them in a dark room? She accidentally traps the two men together, and their feelings heat up in no time.

The stingy, hot-tempered director screams from behind the monitor: “Lin Xia! Show me the vicious supporting actress attitude! Smack him in the face with five million!”

Lin Xia pulls out a sack of “50-billion-yuan Underworld Bank notes,” bought for ten yuan, and smiles ingratiatingly but firmly. “Director, I have no problem putting on a show, but if you want me to hit someone with ghost money... that costs extra!”
