Step Aside, Southern Maoshan and Northern Ma Clan! My Lord Is Here to Back Me Up

After being laid off by a major tech company, Lin Mo returns to his hometown in Chaoshan to lie flat.

His grandma tells him to fill in for a few days at the Temple of the Three Mountain Kings, serving as a spirit medium.

On his first day, an irritable voice explodes in his head: “That old crook A Kun! He’s stuck some idiot kid here to screw me over!”

It’s the local earth god, a four-hundred-year-old spirit with a foul mouth, a weakness for women and tea, a protective streak, and an insatiable appetite.

From then on, Lin Mo, an unemployed office drone, gets a complete game-changing power-up!

He picks up Chaoshan’s money-luck folk remedies in no time, his folk rituals for romance work every time, and evil spirits and monsters steer clear of him.
