The man tilted his head in confusion, his eyes full of puzzlement. “My wife?” he asked, his voice soft and sweet.
Hearing the words “my wife” was like receiving an impossible command. Her brain instantly froze, then she came to her senses, her face flushing even more. She couldn’t tell if she was embarrassed or angry. What a shameless man, pretending to be innocent! Who was his wife?
She turned to face him again, her expression stern. “Don’t call me your wife. I’m not your wife.”
“But you are my wife. You kissed me, and I liked it. I want to keep kissing you forever. We’ve already been intimate. The people in my head say that’s what married couples do. They kiss each other.” He gazed innocently at Luo Wanyin.
