I Kicked Down the Palace Gate from the Start, and Became the Great Song’s Number One Corrupt Official

When others transmigrate to the Jingkang era, they become loyal ministers and able generals, rescuing the realm from its collapse.

When I, Zhao Zhen, transmigrate, I go straight for the title of the Song dynasty’s greatest treacherous minister!

Emperor Huizong wants to flee south? I kick open the palace gates, draw my saber, and take the throne!

Li Bangyan wants to negotiate peace? I confiscate his property and the Six Thieves’ fortunes to fund the army!

Wanyan Zongwang has the city under siege? Negotiate peace? Then you’ll have to pay reparations first!

The upright officials impeach me for monopolizing power, calling me a traitor and the Song dynasty’s greatest treacherous minister.

A treacherous minister? That’s not a bad idea.

A loyal minister has to endure a foolish ruler’s suspicions, scheming courtiers’ obstruction, the slaughter of the people, and the abduction of imperial princesses.

Whoever wants to be a loyal minister can be one.

All I want is for the land to be safe and the people to live in peace.

I’m going to be this treacherous minister!
