In the final years of the Northern Song, Song Ru Jiao, a young woman from a poor family, unexpectedly gains fragments of memories from a modern college girl and awakens the Empire Treasury System. As long as she changes the tragic fates of the heroes of Water Margin, she can unlock an endless supply of miraculous modern goods!
Wu Dalang is about to be murdered? A box of modern antibiotics saves his life, and she even strips the Ximen family of their wealth, winning Wu Song’s wholehearted loyalty as he calls her his lord!
Lin Chong is about to lose his family? She provides bulletproof vests and special-issue steel blades, and the instructor of the 800,000 Imperial Guards switches sides on the spot!
And what about Song Jiang, forever calling for amnesty? Song Ru Jiao sneers and produces high-yield potatoes, refined salt, perfume, and modified firearms and cannons. “Follow that short, dark fellow and you’ll be nothing but the imperial court’s lackeys. Follow me, and you’ll eat meat at every meal and drink your fill!”
With the overwhelming advantage of modern technology, Song Ru Jiao keeps snatching up the heroes one after another, turning a band of outlaws with nowhere else to turn into an invincible modern steel army.
When the Jingkang Incident comes, and the Zhao emperors meekly beg for peace, Song Ru Jiao leads the fully equipped heroes of Water Margin to blast the Jin cavalry with super cannons and kick the rotten Song dynasty off its throne!
“If the Zhao family can’t protect the people of this realm, then I’ll take the throne myself!”
