*My own take on the martial world + an impossibly powerful heroine + a touch of ensemble cast + a hint of everyone falling for her + a Schrödinger’s male lead

Jin Zheyue is the greatest in the martial world and the enemy of eight great clans. People call her “Demoness Yuexia Xie.”

Back when she was an enemy of all, people said the sins she had committed could never be repaid, and that anyone who associated with her was doomed to a miserable end.

But when one person after another came to take her life, Jin Zheyue drew her sword without hesitation and shouted, “Come on, let’s fight!”

And when one person after another wanted to stand by her side, Jin Zheyue drew her sword again, steadfastly placing herself in front of them all.

“I’ll shoulder every sin, and I’ll sever every karmic tie.”

She entered the martial world to avenge her family, but she was too young and hotheaded. In her second year, she managed to get herself cornered, gravely wounded, and ultimately killed.

But she died, then came back to life three years later.

Clutching her head as blood poured from it, Jin Zheyue discovered to her dismay that she had been reborn as a young woman named Chi Mengye, who also carried a blood feud.

Thinking, “Since I have inherited her body, I should repay her kindness,” Jin Zheyue set out to return the favor, cutting down everyone she met. She fought her way from Hanning to Jinyang, then from Jinyang to Rongcheng, and eventually circled back to Changying, where she had died years ago.

But as she kept fighting, her sworn friend recognized her, then her fellow martial artists, her subordinates, her wicked disciple, and her enemies…

At her wits’ end from being hounded by them all, Jin Zheyue cried, “Hey, wasn’t I supposed to be keeping my identity hidden? How did everyone recognize me?!”
