Relentless Reckoning

In this world, ghosts cannot be killed.

Every ghost has rules for killing. Break one, and you die.

Shen Yan was drawn into the Black Lantern Residential Compound. After surviving, he discovered that part of his shadow was missing and the character “debt” had appeared in his palm.

In seven days, the ghostly accounts would be settled.

To stay alive, he had no choice but to enter one paranormal incident after another, decipher the rules of the malicious ghosts, and search for a way out.

When other people encountered ghosts, all they wanted was to run.

When Shen Yan encountered one, he only asked:

“What gives it the right to kill?”

He didn’t kill ghosts.

He made their rules contradict one another, then entered the ghosts into his ledger.

But with every ghost he added to the ledger, he became less and less human.

Until, at last, everyone understood:

Shen Yan wasn’t controlling the ghosts.

He was turning himself into a living paranormal rule.
