In 2024, thirty-four-year-old Gu Chuan collapsed in a logistics warehouse. As he lay dying, he still owed the girl next door an apology.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in the summer of 2008, just after the college entrance exams.

His father was still alive, his mother could still smile, and the 380,000-yuan guarantee contract that would ruin the Gu family was due to be signed in four days.

This time, Gu Chuan would save his father first, then change his college application. After that, he borrowed 800 yuan from Jiang Wanqing, the girl he’d grown up with, and started with a T-shirt printed with “Go China!” He set up a street stall, opened a Taobao shop, built a supply chain, and gradually rode the waves of e-commerce, mobile internet, and the content economy.

A gentle and resilient girl next door, a clear-headed and reserved top student, a bright little ray of sunshine with strong boundaries, a confident and mature business partner, and a cool, sharp-witted queen of finance all entered his new life one after another.

Someone asked Gu Chuan what he hoped to gain from living his life over again.

Looking at the home where the lights were still on, and at the people willing to walk beside him, he smiled and replied:

Family, a career, the times, and the people he had once missed.

This time, I’m having it all!
