Aren't You Supposed to Be a Playboy? Why Do You Blush When I Kiss You?

[A second chance at love + sharp tongue, soft heart + reunion from the very first chapter + school romance followed by city life]

Bright, sweet girl ✖️ carefree, cool guy

Lin Xi met Fu Sizhi when she was thirteen.

When they were young, they watched the same sunset.

They met again at university, but he didn't remember her at all.

The aloof, antisocial boy from back then had become a campus celebrity, surrounded by endless rumors and a revolving cast of companions.

A misunderstanding on a rainy night brought them together.

Later, the freewheeling young heir to a wealthy family announced to everyone that he was going to pursue her.

These two were so different that they seemed to have nothing in common.

And yet they fell into an enviable romance during university.

Unfortunately, it didn't last. Just six months later, secrets and misunderstandings drove them apart.

The arrogant young master who thought himself above everyone else was the one who got dumped.

-

On that rainy night, he tried to make her stay, his pride reduced to nothing.

“I'm tired of this. Let's end it here.”

The girl turned and walked away, leaving the boy standing alone in the rain all night, his proud spirit soaked through.

-

People you forget with time are impossible to forget when you meet again.

When they reunited four years later, they tacitly treated each other like strangers.

A sudden act of revenge left Fu Sizhi in mortal danger.

Only then did Lin Xi realize that she had never been able to let him go.

At last, they were able to clear up all the misunderstandings and secrets from the past, and get back together.

-

While Fu Sizhi lay unconscious, Lin Xi promised to do anything if he woke up. As soon as he did, he made two wishes.

“Baby, let's get back together,” he said.

With her arms folded over her chest, she nodded. “What's the second one?”

“Shouldn't we do something adults do?”
