The Black Rain Falls, Monsters Run Amok

The black rain fell for seven days, and the world was turned upside down.

Gu Ming was just an ordinary graduate. The day the sky went dark, he got soaked in his rented apartment and became a “Titan,” literally the kind who could punch through a concrete wall.

The apocalypse came. While everyone else scrambled to escape, he busied himself scavenging corpses.

As he scavenged, he found Lin Wei, a scientist; Old Qiao, carrying an axe; and Nuannuan, a little girl clutching a qilin. The four of them joined forces and fought their way through the monster-infested restricted zone again and again.

Until they discovered that the black rain wasn’t a natural disaster. It meant “It” had awakened.

“It” was sealed beneath the abyss, with seven chains piercing its heart. Now the chains were close to breaking, and “It” was going to emerge and devour every dimension. The unreasonable power inside Gu Ming was the last safeguard left behind by the ancient Gatekeeper.

The Council wanted to use “It” to achieve immortality. The monsters in the abyss wanted to let “It” out so they could feast. Gu Ming just wanted to keep his team alive.

But in his dreams, “It” told him, “You were born to be a lock.”

Gu Ming gripped his broken sword and glanced at Lin Wei, Old Qiao, and Nuannuan behind him.

“Then a lock I’ll be.”

“This lock of mine is made to lock up gods.”
