I'm an Actuary in the Underworld

> There is one rule: Anyone who receives a red invitation must attend within three days. Otherwise, they die.

> Shen Du is an actuary. He doesn't believe in superstition. He believes only in data.

> Until he found the same pattern in eleven death-claim reports: Every victim had attended a funeral within the 72 hours before their death.

> And there was a red invitation on his desk.

> In the Realm of Yin Laws, rules are the law. Every rule has a loophole, and actuaries are born to find them.

> The survival rules of Paper Doll Town, the exchange rules of the Ghost Marriage Altar, the marching rules of the Corpse-Driving Trail, the parasitism rules of the Gu Poison Village... Twelve instances, twelve sets of rules, every one of them a killer.

> Others survive by luck. He survives by calculation.

> But in the end, he discovers that the hardest thing to calculate isn't the rules. It's the human heart.

> And the person he's been searching for most has already vanished beyond the rules.
