“Sasuke Uchiha, you’re going to be my student.”
Four-year-old Sasuke looked at the words written in the notebook, then at the red-haired little girl in front of him who couldn’t speak.
“...Huh?”
Later
“I didn’t follow you because I was worried about you.”
“Here, have this tomato. I just couldn’t finish it. I didn’t save it for you or anything.”
“Don’t get the wrong idea. When I called you an idiot, I wasn’t saying you were cute.”
Everyone in Konoha noticed that the aloof young second son of the Uchiha Clan had acquired a little shadow who followed him everywhere.
Then someone pointed at Eri and called her a “mute”...
Sasuke stepped in front of her, the tomoe in his eyes spinning.
“She just doesn’t talk. Her fire is more beautiful than all of yours.”
She held up her notebook. It read: “Sasuke, five-treasure fried rice. I’ll share half with you.”
His ears reddened as he turned away. “...Hmph.”
