From the Start with Twin Stars: I Set Up De Bruyne to Score Against His Own Team

Jin Yu, known in English as KIM, transmigrates to Manchester in 2018. A young Korean-Chinese player from Yanbian, he is bound to the Green Pitch Twin Stars System. This bizarre System rewards him with twice the attribute boosts and skill bonuses whenever he and his teammates, especially Kevin De Bruyne, interact, pass to each other, and score.

At the time, Manchester City’s star striker Sergio Aguero is sidelined with an injury, and Pep Guardiola is experimenting with a strikerless formation. KIM makes the starting lineup as a second striker. He expects to shoulder the burden of scoring, but thanks to the System, he ends up turning De Bruyne into a goal-scoring machine.

Then, when he steps up at a crucial moment and scores with an unbelievable shot from an almost impossible angle, the entire Etihad Stadium erupts. The fans realize that this young man called KIM is a true force on the pitch! And so, “KIM” becomes “KING”!

“Just run forward, Ding-Ding. If I can’t get the pass to you, I lose!”

“KING, please stop feeding me goals! I’m a midfielder, so how am I supposed to win the Premier League Golden Boot?!”
