Synopsis

I transmigrated as the greatest scapegoat in history, King Zhou of Shang, and got a countdown to the fall of my kingdom from the start.

System: Please follow Heaven’s script and play the tyrant. Set yourself on fire at Deer Terrace fifteen years from now. Thank you for your cooperation.

Di Xin: I’m lying flat. Do whatever you want.

But he soon discovers that he isn’t allowed to abdicate, isn’t allowed to take it easy, and even his suicide is supposed to be written into the Investiture of the Gods List so he can play a disposable pawn.

Fine. You asked for it.

Burning incense at Nuwa Palace? Instead of writing a lewd poem, he writes a hymn and leaves the goddess utterly stunned. A nine-tailed fox wreaking havoc on the kingdom? First he makes her sign an employment contract, then brings her into the palace as a double agent. Bigan getting his heart cut out? How about a straw dummy decoy? Wen Zhong dying in battle? He fakes his death and moves behind the scenes. Huang Feihu rebelling against Shang? Actually, he’s one of my top spies.

By day, he talks back to the immortals at court. By night, he holds safety meetings in the harem.

Sharing a bed with a crowd is really as much fun as they say, and defying fate really is a lot of work.

By the time Yuanshi Tianzun discovers the Investiture of the Gods List has been tampered with, the Western Teachings realize they can’t poach anyone, and Haotian Shangdi finds Heaven’s court packed with people from Shang, Di Xin is already embracing Daji’s true form, has attained sainthood in the flesh, and is smiling as he watches the world change.

“If fate has decided I’m King Zhou, then I’ll abolish fate itself.”

“I’ll write the script for this Investiture of the Gods myself.”

Overpowered Stories with Multiple Female Leads, but Not Too Harem-Like, No Miserable Plotlines, and a Slice-of-Life Focus

I want something like Detective Conan: When Toji Fushiguro Transmigrates into the World of Detective Stories. It can be fanfiction, a crossover, or any genre, but don’t force romance just for the sake of it. Ideally, the romantic development should be gradual and logical. No walking incubus, please. Fellow readers, your recommendations are welcome.

Male-Oriented Stories with Multiple Heroines, but Not Too Many

I’m looking for male-oriented stories with a well-written romance. Fantasy, urban cultivation, anything is fine. I hope there aren’t too many heroines, two or three is enough. In some harem stories, the heroine only exists to increase the size of the hero’s harem. She’s just a useless, pretty prop.
