The City in My Heart

I See the City of the Heart is a long inspirational novel that author Du Zhongwu spent five years writing with tireless dedication. Centered on discovering the city of conscience within, it tells how I endure hardship and grow, transforming from a self-conscious, stubborn child into a self-reliant person who brings positive energy to society. The story spans the 1970s through the post-2000 era; its settings range from villages and commune towns to county seats and cities. Its cast consists of people whose consciences have been clouded to varying degrees, but who find their way back into the light.
