Marvel: With All Due Respect, You’re All Small Fry

[Games + Marvel + Comedy + Invincible + Feel-Good Power Fantasy + Invincible + Anti-Cliché + No Saintly Protagonist]

For a base salary of ten thousand, Lin Zhen is playing a massive virtual game called “The American Comic Book World.”

Little does he know that from the very start of the game, he’s already transmigrated into the real comic-book universe.

Nick Fury: Help! Every time I give Lin Zhen a mission, something goes missing: my cup, my new little umbrella!

Black Widow: Lin Zhen said he’d raised my affection score to 1,000, then dragged me straight to his room.

Homelander: Who’s that kid in the building across the street? Why did he just hit me with a Crescent Moon Blade?

Batman: Some jerk wearing a center-parted chicken-head mask pulled me out of the Batmobile, then drove off without looking back. He even said the devs gave him permission...

Thor: Who’s this kid, and why did he grab my Mjolnir and run off with it?

Tony Stark: Don’t even get me started. I just teamed up with Lin Zhen, and the kid hauled off my armor and sold it to an old man who buys scrap metal.

Lin Zhen: That’s right, I did all of it. If you ask me, everyone here is a nobody.

Note: To avoid padding the word count and ruining the reading experience, completing missions only grants experience. I won’t list level and stat panels, because that would be too much filler. If that bothers you, please don’t click. Thanks, everyone!
