Murder Investigation Squad

Lu Chen hates two kinds of people more than anything: know-it-alls who think they're clever, and forensic pathologists.

Unfortunately, Lin Che is both.

One is a criminal investigation captain who solves cases with his fists and instincts. He's crude, hot-tempered, and never without a cigarette, and he believes people are wicked by nature. The other is a genius forensic pathologist who relies on scalpels and microscopes. He's a neat freak, cold, and indifferent, and he believes evidence is king.

When they first meet, Lu Chen thinks the bookworm won't last a single episode. Lin Che thinks the hothead will get himself killed sooner or later.

Then they go through one bizarre case after another together: people drowning in mirrors, an extra corpse appearing on the subway, an old person growing younger, a kidnapping staged by its own victim, and a plastic surgeon whose face has been peeled off.

Each case challenges everything they know about the world.

Along the way, they discover that they complement each other better than anyone else in the world. One charges headlong into the darkness; the other lights the way through the fog.

They are each other's scabbard, and each other's armor.
