When Lin Xi opens her eyes, she has become the vicious supporting female character in a novel.
She’s now the secret girlfriend of an amnesiac CEO!
And she’s only pretending to be!
Pretending!
Lin Xi feels this unfamiliar body and breaks into a cold sweat.
In the original story, the heroine is the male lead Gu Shen’s secretary. When he loses his memory in a car accident, she lies and claims to be his secret office romance, then ruthlessly milks him for money.
According to the story, the male lead will recover his memories in three months. That will be the end of her.
He’ll get together with the heroine, his childhood sweetheart who returns from overseas.
As for the vicious supporting character, the male lead will stuff her into a car and dump her in the countryside. Then her biological mother will force her to marry the village idiot, who is hideously ugly. Unable to accept this fate, she’ll eventually jump into a river and die.
Lin Xi bites her lower lip.
Ow!
That hurts!
Right now, she can’t run, so she’ll have to go along with the lie for now.
She’ll keep pretending to be Gu Shen’s secret girlfriend while quietly preparing to escape.
But when the day finally comes that she has enough money to run, she’s just finished packing when the man suddenly appears, blocking her way. He pins her against the wall, furious.
“You’ve been lying to me all this time. Why stop now?”
Lin Xi is stunned. The plot seems to have changed!
It hasn’t even been three months. How has he gotten his memory back?
-
After Gu Shen recovers his memory, his good friend asks him, “She’s been lying to you this whole time. What are you going to do with her?”
Gu Shen replies coolly, “Keep the lie going and marry her!”
Tang Zitao: ???
Ever since Tang Zitao found out Gu Shen was secretly dating someone, and that it was Lin, the unambitious secretary, he’d been frustrated with his friend. And now he’s gone and grown a brain completely consumed by love?!
