[Dream of the Red Chamber] [Imperial examinations] [Escape from the Jia household] [Daiyu] [Multiple heroines]
He transmigrates as Jia Cong, a character who barely gets mentioned by name in Dream of the Red Chamber, and the illegitimate son of Jia She, the eldest master of the Rongguo Mansion.
His father ignores him, his stepmother is harsh, he lives in the most remote courtyard, and he gets nothing but thin, cold porridge.
The good news: he has a photographic memory.
The bad news: the Jia family is a sinking ship.
Jia Cong picks up a book with only one thought in mind:
Pass the exams and get out.
Climb ashore before the Jia family falls.
