Looking for College Campus Stories, No High Schoolers!!!

There’s this novel set at a university, and both the leads have just started college. The male lead is a playboy. At one point, after the female lead rejects him, he goes street racing. He also gives her a red string bracelet with her name on it, and she gives him 50 yuan. What book is this?

Any Books About Youth and First Love That Make Me Dream of a Naive Young Girl?
