[Feel-Good Power Fantasy] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Never a Do-Gooder]
After transmigrating to a fantasy world, Xiao Ding discovers that Liu Hanyan, the woman he was betrothed to as a child, has become the proud and formidable sect leader.
He, meanwhile, is a useless good-for-nothing who cannot cultivate. His parents died under mysterious circumstances, and his uncle stole the family estate.
When Liu Hanyan visits, Xiao Ding assumes she has come to break off their engagement.
But she has no intention of ending it. Instead, she wants him to marry into her family.
Not the Liu family, but the Xuantian Sect.
She even says she'll take Xiao Ding as her disciple to conceal their relationship as husband and wife.
Just then, Xiao Ding awakens the Sleep Your Way to Success System.
Any cultivation technique becomes his at a glance.
One good night's sleep gives him a year of cultivation.
While others toil in cultivation for a year, he sleeps.
While others gorge themselves on spirit pills, he sleeps.
While others risk their lives in battle, he sleeps.
He knows how to repay kindness and settle scores, and he's never a do-gooder!
A wicked servant bullies him? Kill!
His uncle steals his family estate? Kill!
The female emperor uses him? No problem: use her first, then kill her!
His master-wife looks down on him and underestimates him? Easy: take her down!
How can I say that I read the latest chapter in one go? This protagonist is very close to my liking. Especially the chapter about the massacre of the village was so enjoyable to read. The male protagonist kindly saved the entire village, but they didn't appreciate it and in turn blamed the male protagonist. The male protagonist decisively let the bad guys directly massacre the entire village of villagers, without any ink or any moral kidnapping. Never show mercy when it's time to kill.
The male protagonist in this book is decisive in killing and has a distinctive personality. He is a good person, but his goodness is not obvious. Have a conscience, but not much conscience. Moral, but not very moral. He will take action because he dislikes some people or things, but he will never do it because of the Holy Mother. He never kills innocent people indiscriminately, but he kills people without any psychological burden; he sticks to justice, but he doesn't mind reaping the benefits for himself in the process.
It's quite interesting so far, but I'd like to ask if this book has a single female protagonist? It was good, but it was cut in half. The introduction was first used to show the killing empress, and the one that pushed down the master did not appear.
Very nice, keep up the hard work
