The CEO's Secretary Says I Slacked Off and Let a Million-Dollar Deal Slip Away, but I'm Only in Seventh Grade

On Friday, I went to my dad’s company to wait for him to get off work and played games at an empty desk. The CEO’s secretary stormed over and snapped, “How dare you play games? Because of your negligence, the company failed to reply to a client’s email and lost a full twenty million!” “Tell me, how are you going to pay for it?” I shook my head, baffled. “Have you got the wrong person? I don’t work for this company. I’m waiting here for my dad to finish work.” She sneered repeatedly and slapped me. “Still pretending? Call the police! I suspect she’s a corporate spy sent by a competitor!” With tears in my eyes, I pulled out my Little Genius watch and sent a message. “Dad, your secretary hit me.”
