The Great Jin's First Female Magistrate

[Strong heroine + no CP + satisfying revenge: the story of an ordinary woman's rise as a master of righteous governance.]

Disguised as a man and using someone else's identity, she becomes a seventh-rank magistrate in Ninglai County.

Did she really put on an official's robes just to clear her mother's name?

No!

How many ordinary people have suffered for years with no way to seek justice?

She remembers her mother striking her head against a pillar, and the county magistrate standing above her in court, sneering, “The lives of common ants are worthless. Their deaths mean nothing.” How could human lives be compared to those of ants?

With nowhere left to retreat, she will bring prosperity to the people under her care and serve the whole realm. She will make sure the world knows what she stands for.

If the road ahead is a den of dragons and tigers, why not brave it?

This is the epic tale of an ordinary woman's rise through the schemes of government: she has no lucky breaks from a wish-fulfillment story, only real intelligence; no rescuers appearing from the heavens, only grit and perseverance.

When the official world is a nest of blades, she will walk right across their edges and carve out her own path to justice.

A pill of ice hangs in the heavens, shining down to expose every injustice in the world.
