In the wilderness, there are scattered graves,
Uncle Jiu was wearing a Taoist robe that had been washed white. He held three yellowed talisman papers in his right hand and held a compass in his left hand. His brows were furrowed into the character "Chuan". He looked as if he had been constipated for three days.
Behind him, Wen Cai shrank his neck, trembled every step of the way, and muttered: "Master, I didn't sleep well last night. My eyelids kept twitching. My left eye was twitching, and my right eye was twitching. Both of my eyes were twitching at the same time."
"Shut up." Uncle Jiu didn't even look back.
Qiu Sheng was in good spirits, swinging the mahogany sword in his hand like a crutch. This mahogany sword was originally three feet long, but now it was two inches shorter after being poked on the ground, and the tip of the sword was bald.
Uncle Jiu turned around and glared. His face under the moonlight was as dark as the bottom of a pot: "You two, cheer up. This evil ghost has killed more than ten people and has come to our territory again. We must take it down tonight!"
Wencai swallowed: "Master, what does that fierce ghost look like?"
"You'll know it when you see it."
Wencai's face turned pale: "Then... Then we haven't seen it before, so how do we know if it was the one we hit?"
Qiu Sheng interrupted: "Master, haven't you seen her before? Master, what does she look like? Is she beautiful?"
Uncle Jiu slapped Qiu Sheng on the back of the head. The slap was loud and crisp, and could be heard far away in the silent night: "Shut up, does it matter whether you look good or not?"
Qiu Sheng covered the back of his head and bared his teeth, muttering in a low voice: "I'm just asking, Wen Cai must be very curious as well."
"You still said that!"
The three of them walked to an abandoned grave, and the pointer of the compass that had been pointing forward suddenly started to spin like an electric fan. Uncle Jiu's face hardened and he shouted: "Here we come!"
Reader comments
[Look] I love the writing. Their characters are vividly portrayed. They are all good disciples of Uncle Jiu. This is the second book written by Uncle Jiu that I think is very interesting (their characters are almost the same as those in Lao Liu's book, which is in line with my perception of Mr. Zombie's Li Qiu Sheng's literary talents). The author hastily updated it. I have been waiting for half a month, but when I saw it, the good guy has stopped updating.
I like Uncle Jiu very much, I hope I can continue to maintain the good rhythm of the beginning
Very good. I hope you won't stop updating.
I have been looking for a novel in which Uncle Jiu himself is the protagonist for a long time, and I just finished reading this one. Is it about to be discontinued?
