Far East Task Force

July 1945, the Far East. The Soviet Red Army is about to launch its final offensive, but the Kwantung Army has a trump card hidden away: a team of elite female agents codenamed “Red Cherry.” Their commander, Ono Yoshiko, has personally stained her hands with the blood of more than forty members of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army.

The Soviets assemble a five-person special operations team to infiltrate enemy territory: a leader orphaned in a village massacre, a sniper who can choke a target from a kilometer away, an Oroqen girl who lays booby traps in the mountains, a multilingual genius who cracks codes, and a medic who rescues people under fire.

Their mission: cross three lines of enemy defenses and blow up the communications hub in Jiamusi.

But Red Cherry has already laid a vast trap, and the mole “Red Fox” is pushing them toward certain death.

In the birch forest, five women face five women. Every shot is paid for in blood.
