A fortune teller told me I was born to be alone. Wei Ning didn’t believe it, so the next day she and her best friend Xie Feifei booked an entire room of male models.
Her friend: “Have you given up on living a normal life?”
Wei Ning: “You’re the one smiling like you’re having a great time.”
They ate, drank, and had fun all afternoon. Nothing happened.
“Those fortune tellers are just scammers.”
The words had barely left her mouth when a young punk on a souped-up scooter brushed past her, nearly killing her.
One strange thing after another followed.
That night, someone kept knocking on the door. The old man they kept at home was usually well-behaved, but suddenly started scurrying around and jumping all over the place, restless and agitated.
Wei Ning: “I was so busy dealing with the little punk outside that I forgot to deal with you.”
She went to the door and peered through the peephole, hoping to catch whoever was playing a prank in the middle of the night, only to find herself staring into a bare eyeball.
The eyeball: “Wanna stay here?”
Wei Ning: “Holy shit!”

She enters the game world.
On the first day, Wei Ning catches an eyeball dropped by an NPC with her bare hands, and even flashes a service smile.
Teammate: “Holy crap, is she even human?”
Best friend: “She’s watched at least eight hundred horror movies, if not a thousand.”
Wei Ning: “I’m a professional.”
On the second day, Wei Ning becomes a walking encyclopedia.
Xie Feifei: “Where did you learn all this?”
Wei Ning: “I told you to choose the humanities track back then, but you wouldn’t. Your future was looking so bright…”

Wei Ning can always pick people up in dungeons, all sorts of people. A sweet, adorable girl in the first stage, a cool and aloof beauty in the second, and in the third...
Teammate: “Sis, how about giving me a chance?”
Wei Ning: “The fortune teller said I’m condemned to a lifetime of loneliness.”
Teammate: “Why?”
Wei Ning: “Men are bad luck for me.”
