Which Snowflake?

“The iceberg is still the same iceberg. Only Jiang Zhou can get close.”

Li Zhiyin, a transfer student in her final year of high school, is an iceberg in everyone’s eyes. She excels academically, keeps to herself, and responds to anyone who approaches with icy indifference. Jiang Zhou, a repeat student, is everyone’s ray of sunshine: carefree and easygoing, with a short attention span for everything, except when it comes to Li Zhiyin. She is the exception.

Jiang Zhou thinks she was the first to fall in love, unaware that the iceberg had already begun to melt long before the story started. But an iceberg doesn’t melt in a single night. Which snowflake was the first to disappear?

After four years without warning or contact, they meet again at a high school reunion, taking each other’s breath away. Li Zhiyin carefully makes her moves, while Jiang Zhou gradually lets go of her apprehension and comes to understand her feelings for Li Zhiyin.

One of them spent four years honing herself into a sharper blade, determined that when she stood by the other’s side, no one would be able to say she wasn’t good enough. The other went from last in the class to catching up with her, only to discover that the light she’d been chasing had been shining on her all along.
