During the Chongxi period of the Northern Song Dynasty, a long-lost fragment of "Taiping Huanyu Ji" reappeared in the world, but it concealed a terrifying murderous intention. In the seventh year of the Taiping and Xingguo era (AD 982), Duan Mumin, a master's student in modern ancient books and philology, died suddenly in the library on the eve of graduation. When he woke up, he became a deposed farm servant in Qingshui County, Qinzhou, Yongzhou. However, this seemingly desolate northwest border is brewing a huge conspiracy that could overturn history. In the Mengdu Valley area outside Qinzhou City, there is an undercurrent of salt and iron smuggling; on the branch line of the Qinzhidao Road in the upper reaches of the Wei River, a tampered boundary monument is hidden in the thousand-year-old road; and the "Xiliang Prefecture Seal" given to the leader of the Tubo tribe by Zhao Kuangyin, the Song Taizu, has a year of casting that is five years different from the official historical records.
