“I am Xu Xian, courtesy name Hanwen. A humble physician at a clinic in Hangzhou.”
“They all say I’m cursed with bad luck in love, that I married a snake demon and am destined to die young.”
“But what they don’t know is that I’m not short-lived. I’m immortal.”
“Fahai thought he was the hunter, bringing his golden alms bowl to suppress my wife.”
“But I told him that golden bowl of his couldn’t even withstand a breath of my cold air.”
“I’m not picking on Fahai. I’m just saying, here on the shores of West Lake, even the Jade Emperor would have to ask me whether the medicine is ready first.”
He beats Fahai from the start and freezes Jinshan Temple on the way.
This is the story of an all-powerful expert hiding behind a scholar’s secret identity, trying to lie flat in a world of mythology but forced to take action.
