Multiverse of Dreams

(A summary of the full story: Mild horror, mystery and escape, two male leads, no cultivation, no System. There are multiple scene transitions to fit the dreamlike theme.)

“Run from the dream!”

These four words were written in code on the inside of a discontinued cigarette box.

Who wrote them?

And how did it end up in my hands?

What were those four words supposed to mean?

My memories seemed hazy. I felt as if I should know, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t remember.

On a rainy night, Wen Liang, an intern psychological counselor, deciphers the mysterious numbers inside the cigarette box. The patter of rain unexpectedly becomes a clue, while danger lurking in the shadows quietly draws near.

During his escape, he “happens” to meet Xu Ansheng, who tells him that they are already inside a dream.

As they flee the dream’s “cleaners,” the two fall by a twist of fate into an even more mysterious, unknown realm.

From then on, drawing on their respective strengths and helping one another, they follow the hazy clues that appear on the “cigarette box,” probing their way forward and struggling to survive in this eerie dead end.
