A century ago, the Great Annihilation Catastrophe struck. Humanity of the old era forcibly tampered with the laws of heaven and earth, causing them to collapse. An unknown tide of gray mist swept across the globe. Civilization crumbled, and cities became rusted ruins.
The mist corrodes flesh and blood, warps machinery, and gives rise to mutated monsters. All technology from the old era has failed, and the laws of physics are in disarray.
Lin Ye is an orphan and a scavenger from the lowest rungs of a wasteland refugee settlement. He has struggled to survive among the ruins since childhood. Watch as he turns trash into treasure, rises from humble beginnings, triumphs against the odds, starts from scratch, fights his way up from the bottom, and survives against all hope.
