When the end comes, everyone returns home and awakens their talents.
Others' talents are fire, thunder and lightning, and strength multiplication, and they are superhuman when they go out. My talent is that the longer I stay at home, the stronger I get, and then I clear it when I go out.
While others were fighting life and death outside, I was at home eating scallion pancakes, petting cats, and receiving subsidies. While others were hungry and gnawing tree bark, the second floor of my house was already filled with dried meat and canned food.
But this is not an invincible cool novel. The world outside is collapsing, with high temperatures, acid rain, extreme cold, and natural disasters coming one after another. Food will rot, human nature will be distorted, and hungry people will start eating cockroaches, rats, and even zombies. The skin is white and the eyes are red. It is half human and half corpse. It is chewing rotten meat and muttering "delicious" vaguely.
There is no pure land in this world. There is only one room, one door, two people, one cat, and a hot meal.
It's hell outside, and it's hell inside the house. This is my refuge.
I think it's well written, but a bit short.
