The Castaway Disciple

The master I had called that for twelve years planted seven needles inside me.

Whenever it rained, they gnawed at my bones like ants. He told me they were a side effect of having lost my powers. I believed him for three years.

Until I discovered that the ends of those seven needles were connected to his heart.

He didn't want my life. He wanted my body.

I was the "vessel" he'd spent three years choosing.

Now it's time to return this blade to him.
