Rebirth of the Elector

A geologist travels back in time to the son of the Elector of Brandenburg during the Thirty Years' War. Historically known as the Elector, he is like the man who pushed the stone up the mountain in the myth of Sisyphus. In the struggle with the nobles, he kept losing, kept fighting, and kept recruiting immigrants like picking up rags. The struggle with the Junkers laid the Prussian military tradition.
