The Rise of Pokemon: From the Start, I Wield the Power of Mutation

In his previous life, no one cared about him. In this one, he was an orphan once again. When the Alliance’s greed crushed his last hope, a rusty iron gate became his only way forward. Natsume Rin had lived two lives. In his previous life, he died suddenly from overwork, and no one even knew he was gone. In this life, he was adopted by a kind couple in Cerulean City and finally learned what it felt like to have a home. But fate turned against him again. His adoptive parents perished at sea, officials embezzled the compensation money, and at sixteen, he was penniless and out of options. He pushed open that gate. Team Rocket, the largest underground organization in the Kanto region. There were no tears here, only iron and blood. Those who arrived late were executed on the spot; those who faltered were killed in an instant. At the end of his rope, a golden light awakened within him. Mutant power, a special ability capable of reshaping the ecology of Pokemon. It didn’t raise their levels, but it could help them break through their limits in a particular area. At the same time, his eyes could see every detail about any Pokemon: level, Ability, moves, and mutation status. But this was only the beginning. Team Rocket’s darkness ran far deeper than he had imagined, and Natsume Rin’s ambitions were greater than anyone could guess. The test was only the first hurdle. Ahead lay more brutal missions, stronger opponents, and the pursuit of the entire Alliance. He would capture more Pokemon and hone his mutant power in battle, rising step by step from a provisional recruit until he stood between the shadows and light of this world, not for revenge, but to take control of his own destiny. When an orphan with nothing awakens the power to change the rules, the entire Pokémon World will be shaken.
