My name is Bai Shengsheng, daughter of the General of the Western Pacification Army stationed before Yumen Pass.
My father was murdered in prison, my eldest brother was pierced through the heart by a rain of arrows, and the court hunted me down, turning me from a general’s daughter into a wanted fugitive.
Under the assumed name Shen Qi, I serve tea and water in my enemy’s Fengyi Palace, waiting for them to slip up.
I once trusted a King of Loulan. He pushed me off a cliff.
Later, he knelt and begged for my forgiveness.
Some debts can’t be settled by kneeling just once.
