Back to 1942: Refugees Begin Driving Out the Tartars

In 1942, a severe drought struck the Central Plains as war swept across the land. Orphan Lin Ye became a refugee fleeing famine.

At just fifteen, he carried out his father's dying wish and traveled a thousand li to Beiping to seek refuge with his distant cousin, Qin Huairu.

In his darkest hour, he awakened an heaven-defying spirit spring space, and all his attributes surged fivefold!

There is no peace in troubled times, and wolves block the road ahead.

As he heads north, corpses litter the land and Japanese invaders run rampant.

With a blade in hand, he presses onward through bloodshed: whenever he encounters Japanese soldiers, he kills them; whenever he meets collaborators, he executes them!

He fights his way a thousand li on foot, then lies low amid the undercurrents of the capital.

Watch as Lin Feng slaughters the wolves from the East, protects his loved ones, defends his homeland, and carves out a blood-soaked path to survival in a world at war!
