Wings Broken in Her Palm: The Herbal Prisoner of the Pill Sovereign

Xie Xuan, an elder of the Divine Court's Alchemy Palace, had reached the Tribulation Transcendence stage and stood half a step from becoming a true immortal. Everyone called her the Alchemy Venerable.

What the world didn't know was that, back when she was still insignificant, this Alchemy Venerable had a grass spirit beast for a companion. That grass spirit was Jiang Banxia.

They once depended on each other to survive. To save Xie Xuan from danger, Banxia even sacrificed her Fusang spirit wings, losing all her cultivation.

When the opportunity to travel to Zhongzhou arrived, Banxia had lost her ability to fight. After discussing it, they left her behind at their old home in Qingzhou, where she waited for Xie Xuan to return from her travels...

A hundred years passed before Xie Xuan finally remembered the forgotten grass spirit, amid the irritation of alchemical flames tormenting her heart and her spirit pet's abuse of power.

Filled with guilt, she wanted to make things right. Banxia, still deceived by Xie Xuan's guilty lies, trusted and depended on her just as she had a century ago.

But years at the top had already changed Xie Xuan. The feeling of being both familiar and strange hurt the most.

After realizing her mistress had changed, could the two ever return to the innocent closeness they once shared?

Could Xie Xuan face her guilt and feelings, and do the right thing?
