Song Yan lived for 3,700 years and witnessed the Heavenly Dao crack open three times.
The first time, his master failed to mend the heavens and turned to ash. The second time, he personally sent five people to mend the heavens. They all died. The third time, it was his turn.
As he lay dying, he entrusted the truth to a girl and left his sword to an enemy.
"Help me see what the new Heavenly Dao looks like."
Five hundred years later, five trees sprouted on the mountaintop.
An old man climbed the mountain with mooncakes and said, "Master, they haven't all forgotten you."
