I Am Xiao Ke

Strong female lead, no romance, with a System, and a largely ensemble cast.

In 2099, the cyber metropolis is swept up in the virtual game The Gods Descend, a lethal trap for an invasion of Blue Star by the Fourth Calamity from another world, though no one knows it.

Fang Xiaoke, born into a family of martial artists, lived through the apocalypse, the fall of civilization, the gruesome deaths of her comrades, and the collapse of her homeland. Reborn with boundless regret, she finds herself bound to the Space-Time Administration's 007 System, which takes the form of a blunt ancient sword that stays by her side.

Alone, she goes against the foolishness of the world, enduring accusations of madness as she infiltrates the game as a beta tester to find a way through the crisis. She rallies four comrades who shared life and death with her, settles scores with the powerful traitors who sided with the enemy, and awakens Chen Mo, a puppet BOSS controlled by the uncanny forces.

When the barriers between the two worlds crumble, strange beasts run rampant and the rules fall into chaos. Fang Xiaoke wields her ancient sword and defies the gods, using martial arts as her backbone and the System as her blade. She cleaves through the illusory divine kingdom, defends humanity's territory to the death, and defies fate to rewrite Blue Star's doomed end.
