Project Moon: Dark Gray Requiem

When Qian Long woke up in another world, he found himself a worthless nobody in Tower Alley, in the city’s north. He had a wife, was poor and cowardly, and everyone walked all over him.

He wanted to live. He wanted to take her away from this gray sky.

He joined the Zwei Association, learned to use a shield, and met his teammates Yu Ze and Section Chief Wu Ke. He thought that, day by day, life would get better: save enough money, move near the Nest, and rent a place with a window.

Then his wife died. She died on the day of the X Corporation’s internal strife. There were dark gray stains under her fingernails that wouldn’t wash off.

Qian Long opened his own coffin.

He wandered the North for a month, killed a manager, made enemies of every gang, and was named a City Star by the Hana Association: “Deep Gray Requiem.” A Color Fixer named Iori found him and gave him a black card.

“The Library of Ruina holds the truth you’re looking for.”

What he didn’t know was that his wife had been sent by N Corp to monitor him. His own personality had been synthesized by N Corp. He had never been a “real” person to begin with.

The coffin was already open. When he walked inside, he left the door open behind him.
