Ascending to Journey to the West, the Jade Emperor Chases Me, Calling Me Dad

Fantasy, eastern fantasy, mistaken assumptions, invincible protagonist

Lin Changsheng was a ruthless man in the lower realms.

To find the several foolish disciples who had mysteriously disappeared years ago, he smashed the Heavenly Dao with one punch and forcibly opened the ascension passage!

He thought he would make a name for himself after ascending, but when he landed, he discovered that this was the vast world of Journey to the West, where karma intertwined and powerful beings were everywhere!

“Oh no, I ran into the Journey to the West calamity from the start. These gods and Buddhas in the heavens are sure to use me as cannon fodder. I have to keep a low profile!”

Lin Changsheng braced himself for a fight to the death and pulled out his magic treasure.

But the very next moment, the gates of the Lingxiao Palace were kicked open.

The lofty Jade Emperor led a host of immortals diving down, clung tightly to Lin Changsheng's leg, and wailed, “Dad! You've finally ascended! Your son has missed you so much!”

In the Western Pure Land, the Buddha Tathagata didn't even bother with his lotus throne. He came rushing over, rolling and scrambling: “Master! You've finally come to visit your little bald disciple!”

Lin Changsheng was completely stunned.

Wait, why are all you lofty gods and Buddhas in the heavens the foolish disciples and beloved sons I raised back in the mortal realm?

While everyone else treads carefully through Journey to the West, the gods and Buddhas line up to pay filial respects to Lin Changsheng!
