The Internet's Sharpest-Tongued Streamer Turns Insulting a Top-Tier Star Into a National Ship
Lin Shutong is a famously stubborn gamer in the esports scene. Every livestream has one regular segment: finding new ways to insult top-tier star Jiang Yu.
He insults Jiang's awful singing, his terrible acting, and the way he betrayed his team for fame and fortune. He's public enemy number one in the entertainment industry.
Then the platform drops a contract on him. He's forced to livestream alongside his sworn enemy, Jiang Yu, for a month, and they have to take part in an esports reality show together.
Lin Shutong: "Even if I starve to death or have to jump off a building, I won't say another word to Jiang Yu!"
Later...
The whole internet watches Jiang Yu shield him from harm. "He's mine. I'm the only one allowed to insult him."
They watch the two of them pull off a support-and-jungle combo so perfectly it seems etched into their DNA, leaving the whole crowd stunned.
They watch their livestream bed pinning scene explode across the trending lists, and their fan page gain a million followers overnight.
They watch Jiang Yu sing a love song meant only for him at the New Year's Eve gala, in front of the whole world.
Everyone thinks it's the classic enemies-to-lovers story. Only Lin Shutong knows the truth.
The man he'd insulted for five years had been keeping a secret about "Starfall," their youth, and the ten years he'd spent secretly loving him.
What Lin Shutong had thought was betrayal was actually Jiang Yu's desperate attempt to protect him.
Lin Shutong insulted him for five years. Jiang Yu protected him for five years.
Very good looking, worth recommending
