Three Lives, Three Worlds, Together Beneath the Tangdi Blossoms

Bai Zhen hates Zhe Yan most of all. Not because Zhe Yan once loved Ningshang, but because he chose to make Bai Zhen forget.

He is the fourth son of Bai Zhi of Qingqiu. His birth cracked the glaciers of the Northern Wilderness, and the voidfire within him can burn souls, destroy forbidden arts, and sever the old chains of fate.

Zhe Yan spent half his cultivation to save his life, but that debt could not outweigh the crime of stealing his memories. Once the Divine Tribunal of the Northern Wilderness convenes, every old score will be settled.

Back then, everyone in the Ten-Mile Peach Grove said Zhe Yan favored Bai Zhen.

He suppressed the fire within him, taught him medicine, gave him the Qiyao Fan, and shielded him from the Celestial Clan’s scrutiny.

But after the truth about Ningshang’s past came to light, Bai Zhen asked only one question: “When you look at me, who do you really see?”

Zhe Yan fell silent. Bai Zhen turned and descended into the mortal realm.

In the mortal world, Ye Zhen died taking a tribulation meant for Zhe Yan, and a page was stolen from the Book of Fate.

Zhe Yan defied forbidden arts to save him. When Bai Zhen awoke, the Peach Grove had been erased from his memories.

Years later, Bai Zhen returns in the imperial robes of the Northern Wilderness, fan in hand as he puts the old ministers of the Celestial Palace on trial. He investigates the sands of the River of Forgetfulness, dispels the turbid breath of Guixu, and forces the Celestial Sovereign to make the record of crimes public.

Lord Xuanheng hides behind the Celestial Clan’s old power. He plots using the seven marks of the White Phoenix and harnesses the phoenix’s primordial essence to forge a calamity, hoping to bring the Three Realms back under the Celestial Clan’s control.

Bai Zhen burns the old pact. Zhe Yan seals Guixu.

One seeks the truth; the other seeks to atone.

When the old wine of the Peach Grove is opened, will Bai Zhen find Zhe Yan guilty, or give him the rest of his life with his own hands?
