The Black Robe: I’m Wolverine, and Homelander Can’t Burn Me to Death

Marcu Hale is Vought’s underground adult test subject X-17, with an alloy skeleton, claws, and rapid healing. Even Homelander’s heat vision can’t burn him to death. From the start, he wakes on a dissection table with his chest forced open, then the next second, his claws tear through the lab. Vought’s cleaners try to silence him, the media labels him a threat, and Homelander hunts him down in person, but every beating only makes him stronger. He steals File Five, rescues Nora, and releases the footage. He’s going to turn himself into living evidence that Vought can’t erase.
