Shen Wu thought she was just an ordinary player with bad luck.
After a car accident left her on the brink of death, she was pulled into a horror game and told she had to clear a hundred instances to return to reality. Nothing unusual compared to anyone else.
But she soon discovered there was far too much about her that was “wrong.”
Her reflection was missing from the mirror. During the train conductor’s trial, she had no memories at all. The System panel kept flashing a string of mysterious code late at night: Unit-07.
“You are not human,” the judge in one of the instances declared.
She began to investigate the truth.
At the end of the chessboard, she asked the Creator one question: “Am I myself?”
The System replied: “No.”
