Warhammer: From the Start, I Have a Blank-Slate Astartes

Li Wen transmigrates to an unnamed planet in the Warhammer universe, one occupied by Orks. The moment he lands, a group of Ork Boyz set their sights on him. Just as they are about to chop him up for food, the System arrives.

“Ding! The Host has transmigrated to an apocalyptic world. The From-the-Start-With-a-Dog System has activated!”

“Warning! Warning! Warning! The Host has transmigrated to an unexpected world. Scanning the Host’s current world.”

“Warning! The Host’s world is the Warhammer 40K universe. The System’s capabilities are insufficient. Requesting assistance from the Main System. System upgrade in progress.”

“Ding! System upgrade complete. The From-the-Start-With-a-Basic-Astartes System has activated. A basic Astartes has been issued. Please name it, Host.”

Before Li Wen could even figure out what was happening, an Astartes clad in gleaming Power Armour appeared. He looked at the Ork Boyz and attacked without a word, killing them all with his bare hands.

“Please name it, Host, or the System cannot continue.”

“Clark Kent!”

As Li Wen gave him his name, he felt that the Astartes before him was no longer an inanimate object, but a living being.

And so, two legends began making names for themselves in this shithole of a world.
