Historical romance + two female leads + lighthearted immortal-sect comedy. Chen Yidu, a Taoist cultivator, heads down the mountain to seek the Dao and find her heart. Disguised as a man, she rescues Piaopiao, a fox spirit being hunted by a demon hunter, only for the fox to fall for her at first sight. Piaopiao, who is still deciding on her gender, chooses to become a female fox! She brands Chen Yidu with a life-bond contract mark, then realizes that the “Daoist Lord husband” she's fallen for is actually a woman. Chen Yidu only wants to seek the Dao. How can she let a fox spirit cling to her? She raises her sword to drive Piaopiao away, but the fox pins her in place. “The contract is already sealed, Chen Yidu. I don't care whether you're a man or a woman, you have to take responsibility for me!” Who would have thought that this aloof Taoist would end up entangled with a fox spirit? She runs, the fox pursues, and she can't get away!
