Transmigrated as a Frail Young Woman, I Nourished a Top Scholar with Medicinal Cuisine

[Two Frail Leads] [No Golden Finger] [Everyday Life] [No Heartbreak]

Lin Wantang, a modern graduate student in traditional Chinese medicine, dies suddenly and is reborn as Lin Dazhuang, a sickly young woman in ancient times.

At sixteen, she is thin as a rail. Her father is so poor he can barely scrape by, and she is sent off to bring good fortune to a sick young master by marrying him.

Other women marry and serve their husbands. She marries and nurses hers back to health.

With medicinal meals, she strengthens his frail constitution; with acupuncture, she saves him from the brink of death. Along the way, she gets her sickly husband fit and hearty, and helps him pass the imperial exams to become the top scholar!

Her mother-in-law curries favor with her, her sisters-in-law bow in admiration, and the noble ladies of the capital clamor for her medicinal recipes.

Zhang Yanqiu draws her into his arms and chuckles softly. “You saved my life, my dear. I’ll give you a lifetime of prosperity and make you the only one in my heart.”

Lin Dazhuang calmly turns a page. “Drink today’s spleen-strengthening soup first.”
